Peculiarities of feminizing surgical correction in children with disorders of sexual development

Purpose – to analyze own results of surgical treatment serious forms disorders sexual development (DSD) in children after feminizing surgeries. To define practical protocol guides on the choice type correction. Materials and methods. Over past 5 years surgeons Lviv regional paediatric clinical hospital «OHMATDYT» have examined 12 with DSD, signs hermaphroditism (intersex). After complex examination following states were diagnosed: androgenital syndrome girls (referred for further Kyiv medical centres); true 1 child; mixed gonadal dysgenesis (MCG) 3 children; female pseudohermaphroditism (without determining genesis) partial testicular feminization syndrome, Morris (male pseudohermaphroditism) 2 children. In connection marked masculinization external genitalia two MCG girl underwent surgery, namely genital zone reconstruction, mobilization excision urogenital sinus walls, cavernous bodies (in MCG) clitoroplasty, vulvoplasty labioplasty vaginoplasty. Children are being prepared surgery. Results. Each child had a personal plan. Verification child’s state lasted from several weeks 2–3 months. who surgery did not male structures relatively well-developed structures.
